technological process :

1. Squeeze the workshop

a. Cleaning device:remove the raw material sunflower in various impurities, such as: iron,

stones, clump, such as the plant leaf, clean up till impurity content does not exceed 0.2%.

b.shelling&hulling: Adopt wind selection and screen selection methods to separate husks from kernels.

c. Softening process:the purpose of softening is to adjust the moisture and temperature

of oil, and make it soft.

d.Flaking process: rolling raw material into flakes, and the purpose is to increae surface

area, destroy the peanut cell tissue, shorten the way of oil out from cake.

e:Cooking process: use steam cooking, inject direct steam and cook the flakes to meet the

requirement of oil press.

f.Pre-pressing :For sunflower seed with high oil content, it needs pre-pressing to press part of oil firstly and then extract residual oil in cake through solvent extraction method.

After pre-pressing process , the requirement of peanut cake : moisture is about 8%, the residual oil :18-22% . Use solvent organic solvent through soaking or spraying contact methods to extract oil from the cake. There is only less 1% oil content in meal after oil extraction machine .

(1) The material (for pretreatment) is sent to rotary extraction by the scraper conveyor. The material will extracted by the solvent or mix oil. After this step, we will get the cake and mix oil.

(2) Cake is sent to toaster. Through the toaster, the solvent will separate from the cake. The solvent goes to condenser and is recycled to rotary extraction.

(3) After the mix oil from the rotary extraction enters into 1st evaporator and 2nd evaporator, most of the solvent in the mix oil is separated.

(4) The mix oil from 2nd evaporator goes to stripping tower and almost all the solvent is separated.From the stripping tower, we can get crude oil and solvent. The solvent is sent to condenser and is recycled to rotary extraction.

Note: you can only use the physical squeeze, or leaching squeezing, also can use physics and leaching at the same time .It according to your capacity .

Refined oil can be stored longer and taste better,the color is clear,the quality can meet any scenario.

(1).Degumming with water to remove the easily hydratable phospholipids and metals.

(2).Addition of a small amount of phosphoric or citric acid to convert the remaining non-hydralable phospholipids (Ca, Mg salts) into hydratable phospholipids.

(3).Neutralising of the free fatty acids with a sligLD excess of sodium hydroxide solution, followed by the washing out of soaps and hydrated phospholipids.

(4).Bleaching with natural or acid-activated clay minerals to adsorb colouring components and to decompose hydroperoxides.

(5).Deodorising to remove volatile components, mainly aldehydes and ketones, with low threshold values for detection by taste or smell. Deodorisation is essentially a steam distillation process carried out at low pressures (2-6 mbar) and elevated temperatures (180-220°C).
