Coconut contains 33% oil. It can be used as cooking oil. Its processing technology is coldpress extraction. We provide all machines necessary for a complete castor oil plant, including pre-treatment machines, press, solvent extractors, refinery machines, etc.

I. Coconut pretreatment

Before extracting oils and fats from coconuts, the mill needs to prepare it by cleaning, crushing, softening, flaking and cooking. For cleaning, we offer magnetic separator, aspirator or different size cleaning sieves, as shown below, to remove impurities from coconut.

Then, the temperature and moisture of coconut pieces will be adjusted by conditioner or softening kettle so that they become soft and wet enough for flaking. This step improves their ductility. Below is photo of softening kettle.

The flaking roll will make the wet soft coconut pieces into flakes. We have vertical flaking roll, multi-stage flaking roll, hydraulic flaking roll and spring flaking roll etc., as shown below.

II. Coconut oil press

The flakes will be pressed by continuous screw press firstly. After pressing, they fall into two parts: pressed oil and pressed cakes. The oils and fats in pressed cakes will be further extracted by solvent.

Main engine includes base, upright, top plate, oil drip pan nut and so on , it is one of the main parts. Firstly the oil material is put into the assembly of the press boring, then it is drove up by the oil cylinder piston. Oil will flow out from the gap of press boring, and then pass the oil drip pan to the drum for storage.

Hydraulic system is the main power force of this machine, it includes transmission shaft, turbine, worm gear, gear pump, high pressure pump, overflow valve; super high pressure safety valve; hand-operated valve; seamless steel tube; pipeline connect and other spart parts. Degumming

There are many ways to move the mucilaginous impurities from crude oils and fats, for example, hydration, heating, adding acids, etc. We’ve hydration tank, acid refining mixer, etc., as shown below.

Deacidification

This step is to remove pigment from crude oil to adjust its color. You can adjust according to the requirement of your market. We’ve acid refining tank.
