The 5th CRC is up at The Cross Reference (and has been for two weeks, I'm just slow...too busy eating strawberry pie.) A fine line-up very well presented. Many thanks to Jeff the Host (who will soon be getting married! Congratulations, Jeff!)
This month's question was about how one's understanding of the divisions within Christianity may have changed upon reading material from someone of another denomination, how this may have opened up one's own perspective toward a greater appreciation of Christian unity. Well, I should've written a post (though I didn't have time) on how I've read stuff from all different Christian perspectives for the past 20-some years, such that I've been honestly naive as to many of the divisions within Christendom and how deep they run.
Ah well. The entries, and the host, tacitly indicate that there is interest in legitimate ecumenism among Catholics, which is great to see. May this interest be reciprocated. Hop on over and have a look at all the entries, and please consider entering July's CRC yourself. Bring a friend.
Oh yeah, my post on Francis Beckwith is in there too.
