This photo started out with a grey sky background -- very dull. Very ugly. I lightened things up but then the flowers washed out. So I upped the contrast and saturation. Voila -- cool, huh?

It is fun to play around with effects, though.

Someday I'd like to try painting on photos (real paint on real photos -- not digital). I imagine it might look kinda like this image.
