I disagree...

Your Brain is 40.00% Female, 60.00% Male |
|
You have a total boy brain
Logical and detailed, you tend to look at the facts
And while your emotions do sway you sometimes...
You never like to get feelings too involved |
Now how does Marla get the same percentage the other way around and attain "a healthy mix?" Not fair...
No worries, Laura. When I plugged my essay writing into the gender predictor thingamiggy, it kept saying I was a man...and it's supposed to be 80% accurate unlike this just for fun quiz. Take it as a compliment that you defied the illogical woman stereotype :)
...and that's not meant to be a feminist remark--just saying that God wires all of us uniquely, though women generally tend to be more emotional and men tend to be more rational (my hubby and I are actually about the same)...thus the need for both sexes to exercise both sides of their brains (right and left) to truly love God with all our hearts and minds, as Jesus tells us to do.
I got the same (40/60) . . . I took it as somewhat of a compliment (I'm not *totally* illogical), but since that's according to an illogical quiz (60/40 is balanced, 40/60 is not), maybe I shouldn't have! :-)
Looks like you're an "intellectuil"!
What this tells me is that you are the one who will best handle the tough oppositions. Good to know ahead of time.
I think handling things logically and keeping ones cool ( not getting easily offended) is how this online test assesses "male".
It brings up my wondering whether this blog is a 'friends' blog or one more open to debate- even though the intent at the beginning is 'both' -there are differences in opinion in how that plays out.
Good question, Ilona. I would hope we might have debate along the lines of Evangelical Update...but I worry that if it were MY entries that sparked debate, I would not have a lot of time to put into it right now.
I think Evangelical Update was a truly excellent experiment- but you have to admit that the author made one of the best sorts of moderator- that is very difficult I think. Once debate starts it seems to have a life of its own, so the original poster doesn't really have to be on top of it- that is probably one of the advantages of a group blog.
You might consider tone and policy amongst yourselves so you are united in it... then since its "your"( as in you all) blog you can run it acording to your vision.
I intend to participate according to time and interest, but it would help people like me to know the tone -which was evident @ Evangelical Update. You all were unusually civil I felt- which made people feel safe and gave place to ease of community.
My goodness... I sure didn't mean to run on like this... ignore it all... :) - you have the advantage of what looks to be a great team.
