I was robbed! I demand a recount! There were hanging chads and…wait a second, what am I doing?
I'm acting like a Democrat

Please excuse the outburst. Losing the final round of the King of the Blogs tournament caused me to forget that I'm a Republican.

Bear with me as I pull myself together long enough to give my concession speech:

All my competitors did a great job and I enjoyed getting to know your work.

Congratulations to the winner of the title, our new reigning King eTalkinghead. Next to my own blog His site was the one who which deserved to win. I appreciated getting to know the work of all of my fellow competitors. They are all excellent bloggers and I'm proud to have been considered in the same class as them.

I’d like to thank the distinguished panel of judges (King of Fools, Angelweave, Madfish Willie, and Wizbang) who put so much effort into the contest. Their comments were both appreciated and well received. (I took Angelweave’s advice and redesigned the site.)

Thanks to Hugh Hewitt for giving me his endorsement and for providing the contest some exposure.

And finally a special thanks goes out to Nick for putting this contest together. (By the way, check out his new blog Anxiety Closet)

Good luck to all the new contestants and keep up the great blogging.

As your king, I command you to stop acting like a Democrat. :)

Well one of us had better be gracious on his blog about the bloke that beat us both! That makes me then!

I guess someone needs to bring up the rear- us brits make GLORIOUS loosers (for eg Dunkirk!)
