We're less than two months away from the next GodBlogCon, one of the most engaging events in Christian blogging. GodBlogCon is the only Christian conference in the nation which brings together Christian bloggers for the purpose of creating community.

It looks like Las Vegas was picked by the "secular" bloggers and the godbloggers are tagging along.
On a separate matter - Joe, I've noticed that every time I visit EO, the physical address for your boss, the Family Research Council, shows up in my google search box. Could you explain why this might be happening? Thanks.

Looking at my source code I see that I used FRC's address in last week's Yak Shaving post (the one on embeddable Google Maps). I'm not sure why it would pull that into the search box, though. That is rather odd.

Hmmmmm. I remember clicking on that map link, so maybe that caused it, but I still don't understand why or how to stop it. Now I see that both my laptop and desktop computers put that address in the google search box when I visit this site. I'm almost 100% sure that I only clicked on that link from one or the other of the computers - not both. Is anyone else having this problem?

The BlogWorld and New Media Expo is the premier New Media tradeshow in the nation. Co-locating GodblogCon with this New Media tradeshow was an obvious move - Christians should be in and among the number of those individuals who are shaping the future of media.
Regarding the Las Vegas location in specific, we look to the model set before us by the Apostle Paul in Corinth or even that of Christ Himself. The question you pose seems to assume that Vegas (a city of 'sin') is no place for Christians, but I contend that it is the exact place where Christians ought to be.
