#578 Download of the Week -- I love apps that do one thing well. DateInTray is a prime example, a small freeware utility that displays the date in the Windows tray. The day of the month is displayed in the program icon, and the entire date can be seen in a “tooltip” pop-up by holding the cursor over the icon. Control-N works in almost any program - it opens a new Window in IE, and just about anything else that can create more than one window.

Isn't that what the clock already does? True, the clock displays the time instead of the date, but you get the whole thing by holding your cursor on it.
