Countdown to GodBlogCon 2006

In less than a month the second annual GodBlogCon will be held at Biola University in La Mirada, California. The Torrey Honors Institute will once again be hosting the event to be held on August 3-5. GodBlogCon is designed to establish and cultivate relationships within the Christian blogging community and to provide opportunities for Christian bloggers to think about their role within the broader blogging world.

I highly encourage every Christian blogger who is able to attend this important event. Last year’s conference was an extraordinarily well-executed and engaging. I had one of the best times I had all year. This is an unparalleled opportunity to meet, interact, and fellowship with some of the most interesting people in the blogosphere. Do what you can to attend. I guarantee you won’t regret it.

As much as I would like to attend and as much as I had planned on attending, it won't be possible for me to do so this year. This really saddens me. But I'm hopeful that I can be there with all of you in 2007!

Blessings in Christ,
Mark

So, this is the week after my wife's due date with our first child...any takers on my odds of still being married if I went?

Joe,

While appreciate Biola's willingness to host, most of the Godbloggers I know are located closer to the Midwest than the West Coast.

How about we get the next GodBlogCon closer to the heartland next year? I'd love to come, but California is no longer a cheap airfare.
