Yak Shaving Razor #37

#350 Firefox Extension -- The X-Ray Firefox Extension let’s you see the tags on a page without viewing the sourcecode. Once installed, the X-Ray command is available by right-clicking as well as in the Tools menu. When applied to a page it can help you see how the document was constructed without having to go back and forth between the sourcecode and the page in your browser. Can be a handy tool when trying to find flaws in your website's design.

#351 Windows Hack -- Want to quickly connect to an ftp server without ftp software? Open Window’s Explorer and in the address bar type in “ftp://ftpsite.com” (where ftpsite.com is the site you are attempting to access). #353 Know Your Fallacies -- Middle Ground (argumentum ad temperantiam) -- The fallacy of assuming that the middle ground between extreme points of view is the logical place to find truth. The middle ground is most often invoked when there are sharply contrasting views which are deeply entrenched. (Example: "Opinions on abortion range from banning it altogether to allowing it on demand; thus the correct view is restricted abortions.")

#351 could be expanded - if your ftp server requires a user name and password, in IE, use ftp://:@ftp.ftp.com (without the gl lt 's.)

RE #354:
The hibernate option can actually be selected without even making it visible by hitting Shift. Just hit the "H" key at the Shut Down dialog, and the PC will go into hibernate, regardless of whether the option is displayed.
