#70 Access the “Hidden” Internet: -- Although Google tracks roughly 8 billion web pages, the hidden area that isn’t accessible by spiders and webcrawlers is 500 times larger. The "invisible web" consists of a vast repository of information that most search engines and directories don't access. About.com has an extensive collection of sites such as Direct Search, InfoMine, ProFusion, and the Invisible Web Directory that can help you tap into this resource. (HT: Maximum PC)

Next time you need to change a password, use a mnemonic device and the first line of a nursery rhyme to produce a complex, difficult to guess password such as MHALLWFWAWAS -- Mary Had A Little Lamb Whose Fleece Was As White As Snow. (If the password requires numbers or symbols, choose one that you will always use (i.e., 444, &&&) and tack it on the end.)

Yup - used verses myself. It's easy to use numbers and symbols, too -- especially with as many verses that start off "For..." (4)
Examples (we could almost make this a license plate game...):
4twos=dbtgoGiel
4uyacib,uyaSig
&Gsltbl!

I read that using a press will up your cholesterol (back when I was researching this for my husband who had high cholesterol and was using one). It was a while ago so I can't remember the source but I'm sure it can be googled.

Joe--the tip about remote access won't work outside one's own LAN, will it? Or have I missed some way we're going to do DNS resolution, here?
Cheers,
