Assessment: Since 1973, Dr. Kilner has been one of the leading voices for the evangelical perspective on bioethical issues. He spent extended periods of study and research in inner-city Boston, Kenya, and Switzerland before accepting teaching posts at Asbury Theological Seminary, the University of Kentucky, and Harvard. A frequent speaker and seminar leader, Kilner holds a unique position as the chair of the only evangelical graduate level bioethics program in the world. In July 2005, he will be transitioning from the role of President and CEO to the position of Senior Scholar at CBHD in order to spend more time on research and on expanding the bioethics program at Trinity International University.
