Since I’ll be on busy moving to Chicago this weekend I likely won’t be posting any new material until Monday. Early next week, though, I’ll finish up the series on Christians and the visual arts. I’m also hoping to start delving into some bioethics related topics. My article on Dutch euthanasia will be coming out in the Spring issue of The New Atlantis (due out later this month – more on that later) so as a prelude I’ll repost below and reopen for discussion my series on the wisdom of repugnance.
By the way, I have a lot of email to catch up on so I apologize if I won’t be able to get to it until early next week. Hopefully, I’ll be able to quickly acclimatize to civilian life and get caught up on my blog-related duties. Have a good weekend and I’ll see you on Monday.

All the best -- safe travel and smooth transition. Got a few years left in uniform myself. See you on the outside!

I've been checking this blog out intermittently, and I've been astounded by the eclectic topics of opinion you have been sharing. From Anthony Hamilton to Calvinism to Scalia, etc., it all comes together wonderfully to the glory of God. Chicago is a great city, maybe I'll run into you.

Be safe, hope the move goes well.
Bundle up. Chicago is cold:^)
We'll be here when you get back.

Joe,
Welcome to Illinois. I have been praying and blogging for a change in Illinois (where I live) from a "blue" to a "red" state.

Perhaps your move and the power of prayer will start melting the "blue" ice in Illinois.
God Bless
