Because of the Christmas holiday I have a lot of time off from work, time I was hoping to spend on writing. Because my wife also has a lot of time of from work and expects me to spend time with her rather than with the computer (women are funny like that) my plans have had to be modified.

The site traffic has appeared to drop considerably – which I hope is only due to the holidays – so I don’t think it will make much difference if I don’t keep up my blistering pace of one to two posts a day (yes, I too sometimes wonder how I can be so prolific). But because the readers of this blog contains a motley collection of heathens, Grinches, and Christians who will not be welcome at family Christmas functions, I’ve decided to freshen up a few old posts and throw them out for discussion.

I’ll probably find the time to squeeze in a few new pieces over the next few days but in the meantime feel free to tear into some of these more controversial ones from my blog days of yesteryear (i.e., last winter). (By the way, if you have an old post that you'd like to see resurrected and redebated, let me know.)
