Are your tax dollars funding the Anti-War movement?

According to IRC 501(c)3 of the federal tax code, organizations that are "organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable…or educational purposes" are exempt from taxation and are allowed to solicit tax-deductible contributions.

This tax-exempt status applies to your local church, the Salvation Army, the Boy Scouts, and…A.N.S.W.E.R?

While ANSWER is careful not to draw attention to its tax exempt fundraising, the group's donations are funneled through the non-profit 501(c)3 foundation, The People's Rights Fund.

Presumably, ANSWER justifies their action by claiming that the organization is designed for "educational purposes." But the law has established a strict methodology test for discerning education from propaganda. ANSWER, as might be expected, fails the test.

While I vehemently disagree with ANSWERS' position and activities, I respect their First Amendment right to protest. They do not have the right, however, to fund their protest using tax-free donations. ANSWER is in clear violation of the law and should be subjected to an audit by the IRS. Let's ensure they are held accountable.
